My Jeopardy 2014 quiz was a flop.
Only three people tried it and their scores were well below the EQAO competence standard of 70%.
Maybe the questions were too hard or just maybe my promise of a jar of raspberry jam wasn't motivation enough.
Somehow I doubt that doubling the prize to two jars would help?
On a different note, I must add that my New Year's resolution list actually includes two more items.
Besides doing a 10K ( I'm up to 3K on an indoor track already), I plan to start juicing once again. Although my JuicemanII is three times older than my grandson, I know the benefits of a carrot/apple drink far outweigh snacking on cookies or a handful of jujubes.
My third New Year's resolve relates to a book Terry gave me for Christmas. It's called The Complete C.S. Lewis Signature Classics and includes The Screwtape Letters, Mere Christianity and The Great Divorce......heady stuff but I'm determined to take a few minutes each day to read some Theology 201.
Though Lewis wrote his books over 50 years ago, his Christian themes are timeless and his writings will help my resolve to richly nourish my soul as well as my body this new year.
