A BIG NUMBER

Terry and I not only share a birthday year and month, we also share the same birthday week; in fact the same 72 hours.  How's that for synchronicity?

And last week we turned 70 together.

Yikes!

Such a big number and one I always thought was the exclusive domain of the wrinkly crowd. Now we're full time members. How did that ever happen?

To ease our transition to the higher numbers, our kids threw us a surprise birthday party last weekend complete with balloons, cake, a BBQ as well as an amazing present....an Expedia gift certificate and some euros towards a trip to Europe this fall.

What a wonderful day!

I think my kids realized it would take a big push to get me off this continent and all I can say is ... Thank You and Mission Accomplished.

Terry and I feel very blessed and grateful for such a wonderful and caring family.
