What a joy to see our newest grandson after a four month wait due to the pandemic. Although he has lost his new baby smell, Patrick and his 26 month old brother are little treasures. Elliott is fast learning how to express himself. When his dad told him to get his little suitcase for their visit, he answered,
"Big suitcase."
"Why a big suitcase?" his dad asked.
"Stay a long time," Elliott explained.
I'd say he has a pretty good command of the language already.
It's so nice to give Carolyn and Chris a bit of help with parenting and a break from the isolation that is Covid. They both seem to be managing well. In fact, our daughter has been using Instagram to share some of her creative activities and experiences with other parents of young children.
