Most years about this time, we get a visit from our good friend Murray, a railway man we've known for over a decade. A resident of a small town in Nova Scotia, Murray lived with us back in 2006 when he was taking a railway conductor's course at George Brown College.
He now does seasonal work for CP Rail, mostly in Central Canada, working with crews that upgrade or replace old track, strenuous and exacting work to be sure.
Regrettably, the pandemic has derailed his customary three day stay with us so I got creative and enlisted the help of a local model train hobbyist to remind Murray that we're thinking of him these days.
I know he will enjoy the attached pics!
