My friend Larry called from the hospital today...to say goodbye.
He has been in and out of hospital for the last ten days, and now it appears his finish line is in sight.
I felt so helpless talking to him. In so many ways, it's like losing a brother.
We reminisced about the good times and we were even able to arrange our next game of pickleball in heaven...apparently the ball floats a lot there according to Larry.
Do pray for him!
He has taught me so much about life, about suffering, about generosity and about being authentic.
Larry has made me a better person.
I love you brother!
