Here are two more interesting contributions from friends, the first from a pickleball acquaintance, the second from one of Terry's life-long friends going all the way back to kindergarten.
I think my most memorable gift was the baby doll I received for Christmas the year my elder sister had her first child. Jean and I were 14 years apart and she was more Mom than sister. The doll was the same size as the real baby and came with a layette of hand knitted baby clothes. I would mirror my sister as she took care of Harry, later to be known as Harriet. But that's a tale for another day.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas

My favourite memory of Christmas was when I was 11 or so. My family and I were waiting for Midnight Mass; my first one as I remember! It felt very magical to be up that late waiting with my family for the time we had to leave for church at St. Margaret’s parish! The Mass was very special to me. Being there at night was so beautiful and very memorable.
Wishing you both a magical Christmas this year!
Fondly,
Margaret Chiarcossi
