My condolences go out to Rado Krev's family on the passing of a man whose dedication to his craft was second only to his humility.
What a privilege it was to teach alongside him for more than twenty-five years at Brebeuf College.
Rado has left all of us a bit more kind, a bit more grateful, and a bit closer to God.
May he rest in peace.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7
After a courageous and prayerful battle with lymphoma, Rado passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Cathy, sons Paul (Krista), Mark, and Peter, his mother Ivanka, his brother Paul, and grandchildren Juliana and Michael. Predeceased by his father Rado, and sister Irene.
He was proud of his Slovenian heritage and grateful to his parents for sharing their strong devotion to the Catholic faith, which was a source of strength and comfort to him throughout his life.
He taught in the Catholic school system for 38 years, 35 of them at Brebeuf College High School in Toronto. He loved to share his interest in science with his students, but more importantly, his knowledge of and love for his faith.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Southlake Hospital on the 6th floor cancer unit and the ICU, the Stronach Cancer Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital, and Dr. Aera Jung for their exceptional care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Canadian Food for Children, Word on Fire Catholic Ministries, or a charity of your choice.
