OUR AILING PONTIFF

The world holds their breath as Pope Francis remains in hospital receiving therapy for double pneumonia. Certainly, he has the support and prayers of millions but...

I cringe when I hear he is still working between his rest and his various therapies.

To his caregivers... take those documents and papers away. Let the Pope watch a soccer match, enjoy a movie (Conclave, Gladiator 2,  Bob Dylan) or maybe give him a virtual reality experience. 

We really don't need another saint canonized, another bishop elevated to cardinal or another audio message to the faithful.

Pope Francis, we just need you to get better!
