As a neighbor dropped off some groceries on our doorstep this morning, I could only think of the millions acts of kindness that this pandemic has inspired.
Indeed, God works in very mysterious.
On the other hand, my sister Yvonne called from Florida a few days ago, just before returning to Canada.
"Can you guess what the third biggest selling item is here these days? Ammunition."
The implications of that reality are terrifying.
Hopefully, we can all continue to work together until there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
I have embarked on a few projects these past few weeks to fill the time. One is to re-write our book of phone numbers...it has more arrows in it than an episode of Hawkeye and the last of the Mohicans.
Another is to grow a beard a la Justin Trudeau but that doesn't really count does it?
A third project is to plan our next vacation. The choices are so tempting. Here is a list of few possible destinations:
El Garagio
Los Bed
Costa Del Balcona
La Rotundo de Sofa
Las Kitchenas
Santa Bedroomes
Bonita Patio
To everyone, be safe, stay at home and be well.
Mike
