For some, it's cooking and baking. For others, it's sending cards or supporting a local charity. For one dear friend, it's about making festive aprons for her close neighours. My son Derek was raising holiday spirits last week by directing a Christmas play at his elementary school.
For my part, it was making some caramel corn for gift giving, working on building a cardboard train for the kids at Hollland Bloorview and visiting my dear friend Sandra Boetto and her husband Mario this morning.
Sandra is doing really well and looking forward to the Christmas season with her family. She is currently undergoing a regime of infusions and although it leaves her tired, it seems to be working wonders for her.
I do like Christmas miracles.
