UP, UP AND AWAY

Just arrived in Calgary, new home of my buddy Mario who moved here in May. 

So nice to renew our friendship which goes back almost 40 years. And wonderful to discover that Mario's son Adam is engaged to be married next June. 

It feels like the beginning of an adventure, the natural beauty and open spaces reminding me that it's been too long since my last visit to Alberta in the 70s.

The Rockies are calling.

Time to lace up my hiking boots.
